The RNIT FRS (Reddy & Nirmala IT Solutions Facial Recognition System) is one of the key software engines deployed across several government and polytechnic institutes in Telangana to capture, authenticate, and synchronize biometric attendance logs with central SBTET servers.
Key Features of RNIT FRS
- Offline Sync Capability: If network connectivity drops on campus, the RNIT FRS terminal queues biometric scans locally and uploads them automatically once internet connectivity is restored.
- Duplicate Scan Protection: Prevents multiple scans from inflating attendance for the same instructional day.
- Session Splitting: Accurately allocates morning and afternoon session percentages for both theory and 3-hour practical lab blocks.
