Computing Final Sessional / Internal Marks

Following the completion of Mid 2 examinations, departments compile aggregate internal scores before uploading them to the central SBTET portal. Knowing the averaging formula enables you to project your final grade accurately.

Averaging Methodology

Under current regulations, internal marks are calculated by taking the weighted or straight average of both mid-term examinations, combined with assignment scores. Scoring high in both mid exams guarantees maximum sessional marks, ensuring that even a moderate end-exam score secures a high grade letter (A or A+).
