Official SBTET Attendance Regulations

Under the academic regulations of SBTET Telangana (applicable across C-18, C-21, and C-24 schemes), attendance is not merely a formality—it is a mandatory statutory prerequisite for appearing in board examinations.

The Three Attendance Tiers

Tier 1: Safe Zone (75.00% and Above)

Students with 75% or higher cumulative attendance across the semester are directly eligible for regular examination fee payment and hall ticket issuance. No special approvals or medical certificates are required.

Tier 2: Condonation Zone (65.00% to 74.99%)

Students falling in this bracket cannot download their hall tickets automatically. They must apply for attendance condonation through the college principal on valid grounds such as documented medical illness or authorized college representation in sports/cultural events, accompanied by payment of the condonation fee.

Tier 3: Detention Zone (Below 65.00%)

Students with less than 65% aggregate attendance are strictly detained. Under no circumstances does the board allow condonation below 65%. Detained students are not permitted to write end-semester examinations and must repeat the semester in the next academic year.
